E-Day sells in four editions across Xbox Series X|S and PC. The math is simple: the base game is identical everywhere, Premium buys time (early access) plus cosmetics, and the Collector’s Edition is a display piece. This page breaks down exactly what each tier includes and which players each one fits. For unlock-hour specifics, see our release date and early access explainers.

All editions and prices at a glance

| Edition | Price | Early access | Includes | | | — | — | — | | Standard | $69.99 (£59.99) | No | Base game; pre-orders add the Exfil Dom character skin + Exfil weapon skin set | | Premium | $99.99 (£89.99) | Up to 5 days (from Oct 1, 2026) | Base game + Bravo Squad Signature Weapon Pack + 1,000 Iron + 5 seasonal customization packs (starting with the Emergence Pack) | | Premium Upgrade | $30.00 | Up to 5 days | Everything in Premium except the base game — for existing owners and Game Pass Ultimate members | | Collector’s | $299.99 | Up to 5 days | Marcus & Dom vs Locust diorama statue, replica COG tag necklace with two metal pendants, SteelBook case, art booklet + lore cards, plus the game with early access |

The Collector’s Edition is sold through the Xbox Game Studios Shop. The limited-edition E-Day Xbox wireless controller ($89.99, shipped Sep 30) is separate merchandise, not an edition.

Which E-Day edition should you buy?

  • Just want the game? Standard at $69.99. Nothing gameplay-critical is gated behind Premium — the Signature Weapon Pack and Iron are multiplayer cosmetics and currency, and the campaign plays identically.
  • Playing day one via Game Pass? The $30 Premium Upgrade is the value pick: Game Pass Ultimate already covers the base game on day one, and the Upgrade stacks early access (when relevant) and the Premium extras on top.
  • Collector? The $299.99 Collector’s Edition exists for the diorama and COG tags — the game content matches Premium.
  • Shopping late? After launch, the early-access advantage expires by definition, so Premium’s remaining value is the Iron, the seasonal packs, and the weapon pack.

What did pre-ordering E-Day include?

Pre-orders of the Standard edition added the Exfil Dom character skin and the Exfil weapon skin set. Character skins are multiplayer cosmetics — they don’t touch the campaign, where you play Bravo Squad as written. Our platforms guide covers where each edition’s entitlements carry over (Xbox Play Anywhere shares progress between console and PC).

Is there a season pass for E-Day?

There’s no traditional season pass. Live content arrives as five seasonal updates (Emergence, Legacy, Infiltration, Pendulum, Devotion), with a paid Iron currency and an earnable Coins currency on top. The Emergence Bundle ($74.99, includes the Demon Marcus skin) is the launch-window monetization package. Season 1 “Emergence” runs eight weeks from launch — dates and event calendar are in our early access and launch timeline page.

FAQ

Is the Collector's Edition worth $299.99?

Only if you want the physical collectibles — the Marcus & Dom vs Locust diorama, metal COG tag necklace, SteelBook, and art booklet. Its game entitlement equals Premium ($99.99 worth), so you’re paying roughly $200 for the display pieces.

Does the Premium Upgrade include the base game?

No — it’s $30 for the Premium extras only, meant for people who already own the game or play through Game Pass Ultimate.

Do early-access buyers keep anything exclusive?

No exclusive content carries forward — early access was a five-day head start (Oct 1–5, 2026). The Premium cosmetics and Iron remain exclusive to Premium-tier buyers.

Are the seasonal customization packs cosmetic-only?

The five seasonal packs are customization content. Gameplay-wise, Versus is fixed-loadout with no mods, and Horde Siege progression is earned — paid Iron buys cosmetics and convenience, not power.
